With the Red Sky at Night, I can see you were having a great time generaing a lot of exhuberant forms. There's something very Stephen King about the images. I'm glad that you were able to create such evocative light; the sheet has some fun images that I wish I could see upclose. While I appreciate seeing the variations, I kind of wish you had an editor. My favorite images are around the middle left of the image, with the red wireframes, the white sketches and the monochrome red image just below it. Where the renderings feature a central glow and figures dancing around it, the composition is the most unified. I'm kind of wishing the shards of the other pictures would have this unity of form OR some structural logic.
The layout is very bold: I like the large image in the background. Perhaps you could turn down a little of the dazzle to increase legibililty?
I appreciate your willingness to try things out - I can see you are learning a lot.
Dianne, I love the energy in this layout and model. The layout is very innovative and bold. I like the background image. Although, it is a little distracting. I'm still having a little trouble figuring out what is going on in the model, but that might just be the abstract aesthetic. The drawings white on black are very evocative and are good concept drawings of the piece.
